Last day roundup

Wow - what a trip. A wonderful group who clearly had a wonderful time. Reading back over the 5-weeks of blogs almost every day ends on a happy note and most of them say ‘best day ever’!

We love the arguments about which was the official Best Day Ever - and who says it should only be one!

The positive energy, can-do attitude and mostly kindness meant this group had a brilliant time.

Saying goodbye was tough for all and seeing the heartfelt tears from the girls - and some of the guys too - was really heart wrenching. However, it is also a testament to the deep bonds made on this trip which - we hope - will last for many years to come.

We at Bahari Hai and Oceans Alive thank you all for coming and being with us at Kuruwitu and making a REAL difference to marine conservation in Kenya.
