14th January - Evan

Woke up at 8:30 and had a cold shower then went for breakfast which was scrambled eggs, toast, bananas and pineapple. I had to wake up Alex and Dom at 10:00 as they slept through their alarm and even after knocking on their door multiple times, they still wouldn’t rise (we are 3 hours ahead of GMT). Finally, they woke up. After breakfast we met Tilda and she talked to us about the work that oceans alive do, the history of the charity and also answered any questions that we had about anything. We then met children from the village who came to be educated by Team Sayari about ocean conservation (sponsored by the US State Department, National Geographic, Disney Channel and Wildlife Direct). After this, we had lunch and relaxed by the pool swimming and getting to know each other more. At 17:00 we headed to the beach club for the first time where we had a few drinks and played beach volleyball. We then returned back to the house and had dinner together.
