18th March - Emily

After waking up in the most amazing lodge to sounds of lions and elephants at the waterhole, we went for an early morning game drive around Tsavo Park! We were lucky enough to see lions, giraffe, elephants and lots of deer! (Sarah was like a sniper spotting animals!) 

Once we returned back to the camp we had the most amazing full English breakfast which went down a treat! 

Chris who truly lives up to his surname angel, then spoilt us with facts and stories to make the drive to Ngutuni lodge go by in a flash. 

After showing off to the general public (and probs scarring them in the process) are acrobatic swimming skills, including James, Hugo and I’s chaotic three man pyramid, we went out for another game drive to go have sundowners. 

On the game drive, Chris found us some hyenas!! Which was a real highlight, which was made all the better by Chris’ animal noises to lure them out of their den….. 

This evenings sun downers was a real treat after scaling a rock (which felt like a mountain!) we watched the sun set and ended the day!
