3rd April - Emily

Habari!!!! Today started with a cheeky 5:30am alarm for the divers. After a sleepy trip to 3 degrees we got boarded the dive boat and headed out for our final dive at Takunga Wall. On the boat ride out we were lucky enough to see humpback dolphins which were super special. 

We then descended down to 18m and were so lucky to see an electric ray and lion fish, while also some remora. Once we surfaced we finished off are last few skills and headed back victorious (through sea sickness, panics, ear infections and fears of drowning and deep water…) 

Back at Popes we met up the rest of the team and helped Juma, my hero, with the latest addition to Popes: the mud hut! Say to say contractor Jake will not be hiring me for my building skills back in the Uk. 

We then went and played some beach volleyball in true top gun maverick style (see Tik Tok below!)

In the evening the fun continued! Sarah got her ear pierced 🤩🤪🪡 (talk about team bonding)!! She looks so great rocking her new sand dollar earrings! After this we played some poker with bottle caps as the chips, had an evening swim then headed to bed, heartbroken that the final week had commenced.
