22nd June - Maddie

We had an early morning today! We were out the door by 7:45am to go to the beach club for coral work. 

We brought huge concrete blocks that are made as a base for coral gardens out to empty areas in the lagoon off the beach. We used a little motorboat, so beat-up that I was mildly shocked when it was able to carry everyone AND these concrete bricks. 

After, we all had a coconut and then headed back to Popes. 

In the afternoon, we drove out to see the second turtle hatching of the trip. We ended up seeing about 200 baby turtles crawling into the big blue sea.
