Saturday 14th October - Sadie

The day began with a morning reef walk at low tide across the rocks out the edge of the reef, dodging the many sea urchins along the way. We then went snorkeling at the fish meeting point and saw the coral tables along with many fish we have been learning about in our fish lectures. This meant we were able to point out and identify different fish species while snorkelling which was cool. It was a perfect morning to snorkel and we saw so much!! We then headed home to Popes and chilled for the rest of the afternoon. We drove up the coast for the evening to a beach bar called Salty’s for dinner and drinks which was lots of fun!!!!
