Thursday 19th October - Casey

Today we had a very chill day. We started off by cleaning coral plugs to help them grow healthy in order to be planted. I found a tiny red crab living in one of mine and named him Larry. We then snorkeled for a bit and went back to Pope’s to get ready for lunch. On our way to lunch we stopped at a supermarket which was VERY exciting because they had hair dye! I bought some hair dye and my favorite kind of cookie and we continued on to Food Movement, a restaurant with some cool shops selling locally made art and clothes. We ate in a treehouse above the bar and bought Nutella from one of the shops. I said goodbye to the dogs and cats there and we left to go on a dhow ride on Kilifi Creek. They anchored the boat by a small island and we jumped into the water and swam while the sun set. We went back to the shore for dinner and eventually headed home for some drinks on the Windy Balcony. 10/10 day in my opinion. God bless America, -Casey
