Sunday 28th January - Tara

Today we all work up around 5:45am and jumped in the vans to go on Safari. We then came back to enjoy a delicious hotel buffet with bacon, eggs, fruit, pancakes and cereal!!

 At 8:00am we then went back to our rooms to pack our bags and headed to the vans. We arrived at our beautiful poolside destination at roughly around 11:00am. As soon as we all checked in, we went to explore a lovely shop that sold traditional African jewellery. Once everyone had paid for everything they brought, we headed outside to the pool area where we sat around and chatter for a while. Some off us went for a quick dip in the pool while others played football with other guests also staying in the hotel while we waited for lunch.

Lunch was another buffet. There was chicken and rice, and a delicious rice Stirfry and vegetables, as well as macaroni and cheese, for pudding there were little cakes with fruit and ice cream. They were lots of diffent options to choose from. 

We left that hotel to set out on a safari and saw loads of baboons with their babies, elephants and ostriches! Then we planted a few trees which was a very fun and rewarding excercise. Got in the van and headed to our hotel for the night. We were only given twenty minutes before heading back to the van for another Safari! ‎
