Tuesday 6th Feb - Carlotta

Today we woke up early to head down to Mombasa for a big market trip - Kongawea. As soon as we arrived, we had the full market experience. Narrow streets filled with clothing, shoes, hats, bags and food. We had been given 3 challenges we needed to accomplish as a group. We had to buy a celebrity shirt, a 2024 trend piece and a silly hat. We managed to make some good deals and found tshirts and skirts for only 50p.

After the market stroll we had a wonderful lunch in an Italian restaurant. We spent the afternoon at the waterpark having lots of fun and trying every waterslide there was, even the little baby slides.
Quite exhausted but very happy, we headed back to popes for dinner and had an early night.
