18th January - Will
Today we had a great start to the day having crepes for breakfast with fruit and cinnamon which was rather cheeky.
We then went to the beach bar where we went fish pointing which in short is literally swimming and pointing at fish. One group did this and the other used their toothbrushes to scrub the coral and coral tables. After all groups had done both fish pointing and scrubbing we had to take down an old fence where the highlight of my day occurred, having a rather large lizard climb up my shorts.
For lunch we had a delicious mac and cheese which sent tingles through my body and put a smile on everyone’s face. After lunch we had local acrobats who came to perform where they got me to do some tricks at the end.
Later we all designed and painted our own signs for the schools and warning people for urchins.
To finish the day off we all went to Vipingo Ridge, where animals roam the golf course, for dinner and drinks known as ‘sundowners’.
This was when the mischief started we all played pub games like pool, darts and table football. Everyone was straight to bed after the long evening at the bar.
