20th January - Bella

We started off the day going snorkelling to do the fish point out and coral cleaning with toothbrushes. Once again, the journey back to land was terrifying because of all of the sea urchins.

We had lunch outside which was delicious and afterwards we had a Swahili lesson by Simbi which was really helpful and interesting. (Most people speak English but Swahili is useful and always appreciated).

We then sorted out the rubbish we collected from the beach from the day before, it was really smelly because Rhiannon had mistakenly picked up a dead fish instead of plastic! We all felt so exhausted from the day so we weren’t physically able to do the beach Olympics as planned.

The girls all got ready in Elsa 1 (the best room) which was so fun and such good vibes. We then had dinner altogether and headed off to the club in Kilifi. It was the best night yet with many many tequila shots from Tassilo and some epic moves on the dance floor and some great music.

Phoebe was very popular with all the locals and we all had a really fun time. We ended the night with a late night dip in the pool to cool us down from all the dancing. We headed home in taxis, all very tired and some of us may have had a bit too much to drink. So the girls ended up looking after the boys rather than the other way round.

The best day yet! Over and out xox
