10th February - Dom

Today we woke up a bit too early for my liking and had breakfast before making our way to the school where we were volunteering. 

We drew pictures with the kids and I was quite enthusiastic when the Lego came out. We played with the kids out in the garden with games like duck, duck, goose and bulldog which was also really fun, probably because of how happy the kids were to join in. 

We had lunch at the school which I quite enjoyed and then played with the kids for a little longer before it was time to leave. 

For most of the afternoon, a large number of us relaxed and recharged after a fun but tiring morning before preparing for a themed dinner where everyone was supposed to wear white. 

Everyone got dressed and cleaned up before meeting on the balcony of Elsa 1 where a lot of TikTok’s were made and photos were taken. Everyone was sat around a big table in the main area of Popes overlooking the sea eating a large plate of spaghetti and drinking wine because we are fancy like that. After a few drinks a couple people made some speeches which were all very sweet and wholesome. 

Everyone was really content with each others company, this was also the first time all of us including the leaders had sat at the same table for dinner which made the night so much better. 

After a lot more drinks the speakers were turned on and Evan’s bagpipes came out. We couldn’t resist and we had a little dance party which I will never forget. As per usual we all ended up in the pool at the end of the night before going to bed. 

Was a great day and it might have been my favourite so far.
