27th June - Maddie

Tuesday we drove back from safari! We were stopped briefly by camels blocking the road and were almost hit by a rogue plane flying too close to the ground, but eventually made it safely to our lunch spot. 

The restaurant in Kilifi was called Food Movement - a nice spot under some ancient trees. We all got lunch and a drink, with half the group going for a breakfast burrito and the other half going for a crispy chicken and bacon wrap. 

It was a beautiful spot, almost treehouse-esque, and a really nice place to rest after a few hours in the car. 

We finally got home and dispersed to take naps and do laundry (much needed after safari dust!) Even though safari was wonderful, it was nice to be home.
